Owner of Tadpole Therapy Services
Growing up, Andrea was an active child who loved playing soccer, swimming, skiing, and running track. Her passion for sports sparked an interest in understanding how the human body functions. It wasn’t until she experienced a significant knee injury in high school that she realized the profound impact therapy can have on an individual’s life. This experience inspired her to pursue a career in occupational therapy, leading her to earn both a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree from the University of New Hampshire.
Andrea has direct experience working with individuals of all ages and diagnoses in various settings, including hospitals, schools, early intervention, and outpatient care. This diverse background has allowed her to develop a wide range of skills to effectively support those in need. She has also pursued extensive training in areas such as sensory integration, primitive reflexes, feeding, and functional vision. Andrea is certified in the Masgutova Neurosensorimotor Reflex Integration (MNRI) method for reflex integration, as well as the Sequential Oral Motor and Sensory (SOS) approach for feeding challenges. Additionally, she is certified in the Handwriting Without Tears Program and Therapeutic Listening.
Andrea’s primary passion is working closely with families. She aims not only to provide skilled therapy but also to equip families with education and strategies they can implement at home to enhance their loved one’s quality of life.
Currently, Andrea lives in rural New Hampshire with her family and dog. She enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, running, and fishing in the summer, as well as skiing and snowmobiling in the winter.
She looks forward to meeting and working with you and your families!
